Astronomical Autumn begins this week with the Autumn equinox taking place tomorrow. The nights will then quickly draw in. We're starting to see the end of sumer fruits so have frozen the Bourjassote figs and are selling them in 250g bags. You can then make Fig jam, stuff them with cheese etc. This website gives lots of suggestions. We are now taking Christmas orders for turkeys, chickens, joints of meat, smoked and fresh salmon. We also have 500g bags of organic mixed vine fruit for making Christmas cakes and mincemeat.
