Nights are drawing in

The weather is now very autumnal and didn't we have a lot of rain yesterday! Luckily Saturday was fine for the 1940's weekend here in Pickering.
There are some brilliant photos in today's Guardian newspaper!
There was lots of singing and dancing in the main street. Early in the morning coaches arrived full of people and a number of them popped
in to the shop. One lady came in to say hello - she had fallen on the steps one year and I had helped her.
Today Dr Chris Hertzog has been in the shop and quite of few of you have been in for advice and information about our health supplements.

In the meat/fish department we will have fresh organic beef: mince & braising steak, bacon, and smoked salmon.
We have a special 5% discount on all frozen fish and meat: Chicken: whole, thighs, and sausages;
gf sausages and salmon.

We are now taking orders for Christmas - turkeys, geese, gammon, beef, lamb and nut roasts. Please let us have your orders as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
